I was taught girls are like paper and steel. Sometimes you have to handle them delicately, and sometimes you have to let them fight for themselves.

My mind works a little differently. When I was a kid it made me feel like an outsider. As a man, it makes me feel like I have a gift to offer the world.

But sometimes the world isn't a globe. And girls aren't paper. Or Steel. They are the world. And you ... you're their gift.

So when I gave myself away for the first time in my life, I did it heart first, head last, and never in fear of what came next.

We jumped in and fell.

We landed wherever we were meant to be together.
